Message From Founder
When you are fighting for equality, you have to devise some kind of structure in which there can be justice. However, in the meantime you have to do the best you can in an unjust society. The Washingtone Foundation is the structure that came about as a way to fight for equality and justice for individuals who are locked up in the U.S. criminal justice system. Particularly those individuals who are poor, oppressed and marginalized who would otherwise be without support.
As the founder and CEO of The Washington Foundation, I have the tenacity and the audacity to believe that I have the "power" to make change and obtain justice by planting positive seeds. The longer the struggle and the greater the opposition, the more strength I gain from the experience. Since giving up is not an option, I will continue the fight for justice and freedom on behalf of others until I hear: "...well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter though into the joy of thy Lord." Matt. 25:21 KJV (READ MORE)
